DIL-E-NADAAN

Born on December 27, 1797, Mirza Asadullah Baig Khan, popularly known as #Ghalib - is perhaps the greatest poet to have lived in India. His Persian and Urdu poetry is unmatched. On his Birth Anniversary, here is my tribute - DIL-E-NADAAN- inspired from the 1954 movie #MirzaGhalib with voices of #Suriaya and #TalatMehmood. My version has percussions by #SomnathGhosh, all music performed, arranged and engineered by #NoopurNarayan while the music mixing by #SaarangNarayan.

Noopur achieved stardom with her soulful renditions of classics like Dil Da Jaani, Nimmi Nimmi, Maahi Ve Laike Chhuttiyaan Mahine Diyan for PTC Punjabi’s show PTC Studio; and there has been no looking back for her since. Noopur has also done several solo concerts to packed houses and has a very dedicated following in Delhi and Gurgaon, where she lives and performs.
