JAI HIND - BHARAT ANOKHA RAAG

This song embodies and celebrates the rich and diverse heritage that makes up our nation – a nation born out of solidarity in struggle. As the words go: “Sur Anginat, Geet Ek Hai/Yeh Desh Sabka Des Hai.” They remind us of some of the founding beliefs of our people: although we are one Raag, we are composed of hundreds of smaller Raginis. Diversity is the central tenet of our nation; it is what gives our nation a unique place in the history of all mankind. But most importantly, this song reminds us that this vibrant Raag belongs to everyone: “Yeh Raag Sabka Raag hai!” To celebrate not only our diversity, but also the universality of our solidarity, I present before you “Bharat Anokha Raag Hai”.
